Students, parents, support groups, teachers, and staff were invited to gather and share a fall feast prepared by Holyoke High’s very own special education students.
On Thursday, November 1, 2018 students and staff from Holyoke High School’s North campus gathered together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month at the annual Latino Heritage Assembly.
With this month coming to a close, the Holyoke High School Student Government Association decided that the students needed to do something to spread awareness for breast cancer. The students came to a decision to have pink day: a day that anyone wanting to show support for breast cancer could dress in pink.
On October 9th, two students in the Westfield Promise Program, Brendan Leahy ‘19 and Dominick Garcia ‘19, went to a Westfield State board of trustees meeting to convince them to give more funding to the program.
Mr. Moro has been teaching Latin at Holyoke High for 14 years and has changed so many students lives. At the ending of this year, he has decided to move on to Athol High School in hopes to further his Latin career.
