Ms. Fallon To Be New Herald Adviser

The Herald profiles our new adviser, Ms. Fallon!

The Herald’s new Advisor, Ms. Fallon.

After five years of being faculty adviser for The Herald, Mr. Courchesne made the difficult decision to step down from his adviser position to try and help a new program grow. The fate of the Herald has now been passed down to Holyoke High English teacher and 2019 class adviser, Ms. Fallon.

In addition to the new advisor change, the Herald will also be combining with the Holyoke High Annual Staff (yearbook). The Herald and The Annual will be run differently then before. However, all the staff members are eager to see what the year will bring.

“I am personally very confident with it being in her hands knowing that she is wanting to and excited to help out our class for our senior year,” says staff photographer Liza Keane’ 19. “I think she will make our senior year really smooth.”

Not only the students are excited, but Ms. Fallon is also excited to see what the year will bring.

“I decided to take on the role of advisor because I think the Herald is one of the lively parts of student life at Holyoke High,” says Ms. Fallon. “I’ve seen it grow so much over the past few years and I really want to be apart of it!”

The new school year is going to be very different for the class, but will have many new ideas and great opportunities to build the popularity of the Herald.
