The Business Club Is Hungry to Raise Money with Cookie Dough Fundraiser

In order to support their group, the Business Club enticed everyone’s sweet tooth, while selling cookie dough for their fundraiser.

In hopes of raising money to support the clubs, field trips, and to give gifts to the school, the Holyoke High Business Club teamed up with Otis Spunkmeyer, a fundraising company that sells various food items and are famous for their cookie dough.
They sold a variety of cookie dough, soups, pizzas, and other desserts lasting until Tuesday, October 4th. All orders are pre-portioned and frozen. There are thirty-six cookies in a pack and were sold for only seventeen dollars each.
“It’s a great fundraiser; the kids are all responsible to sell three orders or more. They are all eligible to win prizes and it’s a great way for members and nonmembers to get involved with the school,” says business club advisor Jill Reardon. “The Otis Spunkmeyer company is great to work with and they give us a 40% profit.”
Mrs. Reardon hopes to use the money that was raised to bring her club members on a field trip to tour local businesses in the spring. The business club will also possibly be also purchasing smoothie machines and donating them to the school for all students to use. Mrs. Reardon and her club members are excited to be able to give back to the school.
All the business club members are excited to fundraiser and of course eat all the great desserts Otis Spunkmeyer has to offer.
“It’s an awesome idea, because who doesn’t love cookie dough?” says business club member Miranda McKenna ’18. ” The fundraiser has been very successful in the past couple of years and will hopefully continue to be this year.
Along with the Business Club, the Holyoke High Herald and the Yearbook also sold these delicious treats in order to raise money for their beloved group.Thank you to everyone who showed interest in supporting the Business Club, the Herald, and/or Yearbook by ordering cookies!
