On Tuesday, September 19th there will be a Ninth Grade Academy Meet and Greet for all ninth grade students and their families. The event will be held in the Holyoke High cafeteria, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Mrs. Bechard, a ninth grade history teacher, said, “I’m excited to meet parents to help them understand what their children need in order to succeed, not only in my class, but also in school.”

The event will allow the ninth grade students and their families to meet all the teachers and see what they will be studying during this school year. Refreshments during this time will be offered. Lori McKenna, head of the Ninth Grade Academy is also quite excited about the event.

“It is an opportunity for parents and guardians to meet the ninth grade faculty, learn about the curriculum, and ask any questions they have about the ninth grade or high school in general,” said McKenna.

The ninth grade academy has been hard at work this year and they look forward to meeting with all the ninth grade families. Make sure to stop by on September 19th!
