Everyone knows that Holyoke has multiple pizza places all around the city, but have you ever wondered which restaurants are good bang-for-your-buck and which ones are a bust? Everyone has their own tastes about what should go on a pizza, whether it be extra cheese, more sauce, or garlic bread crust. I have been to several different of the restaurants in Holyoke that offer pizza, and I have found these to be among the best:
Manny’s pizza is a nice little spot located at 510 Westfield Road. A small pizza costs around $8, but be warned, it isn’t as big as one might think. However, the pizza does taste excellent and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Also, the crust is firm and medium thickness and has some crunch.
Located on 213 South Street in Holyoke, Holyoke Pizza is your typical party pizza place. They offer huge portions for good prices. The pizza, however, does not exactly “pack-a-punch” because the pizza can tend to be rather thin, but the amount you receive more than makes up for it.
Pizza D’Action is a nice pizza place that has been around for twenty-six years. Found on 232 Lyman Street, Pizza D’Action is a popular place that is famous for both its great tasting pizza and reasonable price. They have over 20 different combinations of pizza, ranging from regular cheese pizza to bacon double cheeseburger. Any pizza topping on the face of the Earth can be found at Pizza D’Action.
Amadeo’s Italian Restaurant:
Amadeo’s Pizza is a bigger restaurant on South Bridge Street in Holyoke. Although many folks may not know of it, Amadeo’s offers more than ten different varieties of pizza and grinders. They have a great sized pizza for the money: their party size is HUGE and has the best price in town! Amadeo’s also has pasta options, making it a complete Italian Restaurant. I would definitely suggest trying it out.
Pizza D’Action is definitely the place to go for a just-for-yourself pizza. The portions are enough to fill you up, and taste really good too! Local Holyoke High student Faizul Sibdhanny says “Pizza D’Action is the best restaurant in Holyoke. They have great food, a friendly staff, speedy service, and fast delivery.” If you are looking for a party size, head over to Amadeo’s. They provide a very big pizza that tastes delicious and will not leave everyone at your party feeling hungry still. Everyone has their own personal opinion on what is the best place around, but these are just a small list of good options you may want to try around the city of Holyoke. Go out and grab a slice!

What a shame that you didn’t include Capri Pizzeria on Cabot street. They have the best pizza and great prices. Hands down its worth the trip.

I agree with Faizul that Pizza D’Action is the best! The spicy buffalo pizza (with either chicken or tofu, doesn’t matter which) is pretty close to perfect.
