Yandiel Rivera Troche, who goes by Yandi, is a Senior at Holyoke High School. This is his second year as a member of The Herald. Yandi was the assistant and then later on chief editor for the Herald. Yandi’s dream is to be a sports medicine physician. Outside of the Herald, Yandi is a member of N.H.S, recipient of college awards and is a player for Holyoke High’s Varsity Volleyball team. He enjoys watching NBA and VNL games and listening to music in his free time. Yandi is looking forward to writing sports articles and editing his peers’ stories for the Herald.
