Postseason play starts today and while it sadly won’t be in the playoffs, it will be an exciting match up against the West Springfield Terriers.

The Knights have a lot to prove and they want to get their winning record back on track and go 3-0 through Thanksgiving after coming off a tough three-point loss to Chicopee Comp last week.

Offensively the Knights will work to get their balanced attack of passing and running back to seal the game against the Terriers.  Junior Quarterback Gabriel Fernandez said, “ We have to stop turning over the ball. We were moving the ball downfield pretty good last week, we just kept shooting ourselves in the foot. This week we have a good game plan that should give us another balanced attack.”

Defensively, the Knights gave up a few big plays last week which ended up sealing the loss to Comp. Senior Linebacker Kenny Williams had a few words about the defense.

“If we want to have another great defensive showdown we need to make sure we know our defense. If my teammates and I are where they’re supposed to be than we can stop the play and get 11 purple helmets to the ball.”
