College Football Rankings Week 15

 

1. Alabama

For three weeks now Alabama has been at the top of the college football rankings. The Tide struggled early on in the Iron Bowl against Auburn but came out strong in the second half and ended up blowing out Auburn. This weekend Alabama will be play Missouri in the SEC Championship Game.

2. Oregon

The Ducks still stand at number two after a blowout win over Oregon State. Oregon will be playing in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Arizona this Friday night.

3. TCU

With a win over Texas last Thursday TCU moves up two spots and is now one of the teams in the college football playoff if they win out. The Horned Frogs will be playing Iowa State on Saturday.  

4. Florida State

Even though FSU is the only undefeated team left they fell one spot again because they have to many close games verses weak teams. The Seminoles will actually be facing a ranked team and we will see if they can prove everyone wrong against Georgia Tech on Saturday night.

5. Ohio State

After suffering another injury at the QB position to J.T. Barrett’s in the win over West Virginia, the Buckeyes still move up one spot in the rankings. Ohio State will be playing Wisconsin this weekend.

6. Baylor

Baylor moved up one spot with a close win over Texas Tech. The Bears will be playing a tough Kansas State team on Saturday.

7. Arizona

With a huge win over ranked Arizona State, Arizona moved up four spots to number seven. For three weekends in a row now the Wildcats will be facing a difficult ranked team, this weekend they will be playing Oregon.

8. Michigan State

Michigan State had another dominate performance against Penn State. The Spartans wrapped up their regular season schedule last weekend and now are waiting to see if they will be playing in a bowl game.

9. Kansas State

Last weekend Kansas State faced Kansas and blow them out which made them move up three spots. Wildcats are playing Baylor this Saturday night.

10. Mississippi Stat

After a tough loss against Ole Miss, Mississippi keeps on falling in the rankings. The Bulldogs finished up their regular season schedule last weekend and now are waiting to see if they will be playing in a bowl game.

11. Georgia Tech

In an overtime thriller Georgia Tech beat Georgia and moved up five spots in the rankings. The Yellow Jackets are looking to hand FSU their first loss this weekend.

12. Ole Miss

Ole Miss had a huge upset over Mississippi St and it made them move up seven spots in the rankings. The Rebels regular season is finished and now they are waiting to see if they will be playing in a bowl game.

13. Wisconsin

Over the weekend Wisconsin beat number eighteen Minnesota but only moved up from fourteen to thirteen. This Saturday night the Badgers will be playing in the Big Ten Championship Game against number five Ohio State

14. Georgia

The dogs lost a heartbreaker in overtime against Georgia Tech which made them fall five spots in the rankings. With that loss Georgia does not get to play in the SEC Championship Game and now have to wait to see if they will get the chance to play in a bowl game.

15. UCLA

UCLA had a tough loss against Stanford and fell seven spots in the rankings. The Bruins wrapped up their regular season but still have a chance to end on a good note in a bowl game.

16. Missouri

Arkansas gave Missouri a great game last week but Missouri pulled out at the end. Now Missouri is heading into the SEC Championship Game against number one Alabama.

17. Arizona State

Last week Arizona State was handed a loss verses Arizona and moved from thirteen down to seventeen. The Sun Devils also wrapped up their regular season and are hoping to play in a bowl game.

18. Clemson

Clemson is coming off a win last weekend against South Carolina which made them move up three spots in the rankings. The Tigers wrapped up their regular season and are hoping to play in a bowl game.

19. Auburn

Auburn came out strong against Alabama last weekend but then Alabama fought back and beat Auburn. The Tigers are disappointed that they fell so much in the rankings over the weeks but are still looking to have a chance in a bowl game.

20. Oklahoma

The Sooners dominated Kansas last week but did not move in the rankings. Oklahoma will be going up against Oklahoma State this weekend.

21. Louisville

Louisville pulled off a close one against Kentucky and moved up one spot in the rankings, which was Louisville’s last regular season game.

22. Boise State

The Broncos won last week against Utah State and moved one spot in the rankings. Boise State will be playing Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship Game.

23. Utah

Utah rapped up their regular season with a win against Colorado and moved up two spots in the college football rankings.

24. LSU

With their finial regular season win over Texas A&M, LSU moved back into the ranking at twenty-four.

25. USC

The USC Trojans had a great finish to their regular season by dominating Notre Dame. USC hopes to keep on rolling into a bowl game.
