The Holyoke High School Theater Company will be putting on a production of “CLUE: On Stage”, December 13-14, 2019 for three side-splitting performances at the John F. Sears Auditorium at Holyoke High School.

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by the Wadsworth – the butler (Melina Garcia), Miss Scarlett (Alexa Moran), Professor Plum (Alysha Izquierdo), Mrs. White (Emmie Lundgren), Mr. Green (Shane Bourgeois), Mrs. Peacock (Alondra Ayala) and Colonel Mustard (Natalie Morris) race to find the killer.   Clue is the comedy whodunit that will be sure to leave both cult-fans and newcomers at the edge of their seats throughout the three performances.

\The play features live music performed by Holyoke resident Iohann Rashi Vega, as well as a large stage crew that is more like a character than a backstage crew in this creatively staged production.  Under the direction of Holyoke High School theater and media literacy teacher Bevan Brunelle, the Holyoke High School Theater Company is an after-school club that is an extension of the Performing & Media Arts Academy at Holyoke High.  The production involves students from grades 9 through 12.

On Friday, December 13, 2019, there will be an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, December 14, 2019 there will be two performances: a matinee at 1:30 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. All performances will be hosted in the John F. Sears Auditorium, located at 500 Beech Street in Holyoke.  Advance tickets are available at the Holyoke High School Main Office and online at https://mifafestival.org/event/clue-on-stage/.
