Top Christmas Traditions

Alex Glanville shares his top five Christmas traditions that make the holiday season a special time of year.

1. Picking out the Christmas tree.

Every Christmas one of the most vital decorations for the house is the Christmas tree. Now choosing the tree is no easy task. It all really depends on the family as to which tree is right for you. Some families like short trees while some like tall. It all is really a preference. The whole point is it is a great time with the family and nothing quite gets you in the Christmas spirit like getting together and picking out the perfect family tree.

2. Decorating the Family tree XMasTree

Now after getting the Christmas tree the job is not nearly done. See the fun is just beginning. Now it’s time to take out those dusty ornaments and pick the perfect spot on the tree for them. This is often one of the most fun traditions because these old ornaments may not be very valuable, but they can often bring back some fond memories.

3. Making the Christmas Card

Now this may not be everyone’s favorite part of the Christmas season but it is certainly something you must do. You can go creative and find a really beautiful spot for the picture but sometimes the simplest photos of the whole family around the house can make the best and ResizeXMasCardmost memorable picture. Even though this may not be the most fun Christmas traditions it creates great memories that will last with you forever.

4. Christmas Caroling

Now comes my favorite Christmas tradition of all Christmas Caroling. Nothing quite gets you in the Christmas spirit like gathering up with the whole family and spreading the holiday with the whole neighborhood. The great part about caroling is it doesn’t really matter how good you are at singing, just showing up at someone’s house and singing some classic Christmas carols will make anybody’s Christmas at least a little better.

5. Making Cookies for Santa

Last on the list is all the kids favorite. This tradition is a great way to end the whole Christmas season and get ready for the big day. Maki9ng cookies is so great because it brings the whole family together and everyone can play a part in making them Then once you are done everyone can have a few cookies before bed, but remember to leave some for the man himself Santa Clause.`
