On Wednesday, March 30, students whose first language is something other than English were recognized for academic achievement. Students were nominated by their teachers and recognized at an Family Engagement event organized by Melissa Vasquez, the Holyoke High family liaison.

“It was so heartwarming to see all of the families here to support and celebrate the achievements of their students,” says Vasquez. “It was a wonderful night, and we look forward to future events like this.”
