Moriarty’s Monsters Part Two: The Blue Sea Dragon

For his week’s segment of Moriarty’s Monster, Jack discusses a beautiful underwater sea slug, commonly known as the Blue Sea Dragon!

Welcome back to Moriartys Monsters! This is where we explore a strange and deranged of the animal world.

This week we have this little psychopath, the Blue Sea Dragon. This thing is a little psycho. First of all, tell me that is not the most beautiful undersea slug you have ever seen. This makes Jessica Alba look like a worn out burlap sack. Not only is this one inch miracle of God the most divine looking sentient, but it’s also super poisonous!

Want to know what the Blue Sea Dragon eats? Only one of the most dangerous invertebrates on Earth, the lethal Man-O-War jellyfish! The dragon hunts, kills, and eats the lethal jellyfish, then absorbs its deadly toxins to use itself! If that’s not the most hardcore thing you’ve ever heard of, then you can just stop reading this article.

The Sea Dragon lives in tropical waters and washes up sometimes on the shores of Australia. Now if you’re thinking, “there’s no way this thing can get any more intense than it already is” then you’re wrong, you troglodyte! This little lunatic blends right into the waters of its tropical seas, so you won’t even see it coming. You’ll be too busy writhing in pain to understand that you just got messed up by a tiny gorgeous devil of the sea.

So if you see one of these demon slugs the next time you’re on vacation, it’s probably best to admire from afar, unless you like the painful sting of the sea….
