Pot Legalization is Granted in Massachusetts

Massachusetts has voted to legalize marijuana, which began on December 15, 2016.

It appears Christmas has come again for many people in Massachusetts. A controversial Christmas, but Christmas nonetheless.

On December 15th, 2016, recreational marijuana was legalized everywhere in Massachusetts. This decision was approved by voters back on November 8th, which allows people of age 21 or older to possess limited amounts of marijuana and grow marijuana plants in their homes.

What will change in society with this drug being legalized? In all honesty, probably nothing. Many people believe that the legalization of marijuana will lead to a decrease in arrests, which would most likely be the case seeing that people cannot be arrested for participating in legal activity, but other than this you will most likely not have to worry about any significant changes in your everyday life.

In a few years’ time, I think that marijuana will be legal in every state. No one can really stop people from using marijuana in America so it just seems like the logical decision to make it legal and make the problem a lot less annoying to everyone.

So just sit back and enjoy your new, unchanged, marijuana-filled society. It’s only fitting that we end such an awful year on a HIGH note 😉 (I’ll see myself out).
