HHS Green Team
The HHS Green Team has started up again, hoping to make HHS more sustainable and environmentally healthy.
As of the fall of 2017, The Environmental Club at HHS has resurrected with a new advisor and new title: The Holyoke High Green Team. Thanks to senior president, Madison Chouinard, the club has made its comeback successfully, and is looking hopeful.
“We are an environmentally-based team open to all and looking to improve the Holyoke High School community,” said Chouinard. “I hope that we can make our community, HHS and Holyoke itself, more sustainable and environmentally friendly”.
Other students are excited about the club’s reappearance as well.
“I am extremely excited that the club is getting back together!” said Perryne Vega ‘18. “The love I have for my planet is crazy and I wish to spread awareness of how vital it is to take care of our earth and every organism on it.”
Not only are they spreading positivity throughout the school’s campus, but -also throughout the community. “We all want to graduate Holyoke High knowing it’s is better and more environmentally friendly.” Says Marie Brazeau ‘18.
The Holyoke High Green Team will meet on Thursdays after school in room 302. All are
welcome!
