My name is Ariyana. This is my second year in HHS, and so far, my experience has been good. I had faced some challenges towards the beginning of my freshman year, but even so, it’s still been good. As I progress throughout the current year, I am starting to learn about more things, such as how to find my voice and how to start speaking up in class. I’m also learning to make friends. Some things that have helped me are: trying to engage in class discussions, joining in after school activities, and being active in group work. If you’re struggling socially, use the following tips to make some friends!:
Look Approachable
- Smile
- Be more open in conversations
- Don’t cross your arms
Join Clubs/Sports
