My name is Luis Figueroa. I'm a senior; this is my first year with the Herald team. For starters, Luis is a transfer student from Dean Tech, and was
introduced to journalism by his counselors last year. Some of Luis' passions include playing varsity on the school basketball team, working out, and playing video games in his leisure time. Luis is also the middle child with three siblings, consisting of only 2 brothers and one sister.
After High School, Luis plans to join post-graduate studies to develop skills and connections with basketball. Alternatively, He may also be interested in real estate property management to grow passive income and focus on personal interest. Ultimately, I believe that an important message the world could take from me is to worry internally, not externally. There are a lot of things in this world that don't impact our purpose or are in our control. I believe life to be simpler when you don't worry about those things.
