Summer Kaeppel, Public Relations '16
Summer Kaeppel is a senior at Holyoke High School. She is a second generation on the Herald staff, as her sister was also on it many years ago, however it is clear that Summer has outshined her. She is the public relations manager, meaning she runs the Herald’s many (successful) social media accounts. Summer has been apart of the varsity field hockey team all four years of her high school career, and is also a member of National Honor Society. Summer’s many idols include Elle Woods, J-WOWW, and Michael Scott. Some of her talents are arriving to events embarrassingly early, finding Banana Republic jackets for 50% off, and finding ways to include Jersey Shore quotes into most conversations. On the weekends you can catch Summer working at Big Y, where she dishes out silver coins and smiles at old people. The Herald is her favorite thing about Holyoke High and she is confident this will be a great year for the newspaper.
