Taina Velazquez is a senior at Holyoke High and this will be her first year as a part of The Herald. She is very excited to see what opportunities this class will bring to her. She wants to get more involved and take a more active role in her school's community and reach out to those who are afraid of becoming a part of something bigger than themselves. Taina is very outgoing and friendly and has a great personality. She wants to write about things that are important and wants to inform the community about things that they are interested in. Although she regrets not getting more involved throughout her high school years, she wants to make the best of this last one and is ready to take on all the challenges that come her way and start the next chapter of her life. Also, this year she's holding the title of "The Good Writer"
