Recently, Ms. Cavanaugh and the band held a can drive at Holyoke High School. All proceeds from the drive went to Kate’s Kitchen. The senior class donated the overwhelming majority of cans with one-hundred and ninety-two cans donated. The junior class raised sixty cans, the sophomores raised twenty-five, and the freshman raised seventeen. Overall, Ms. Cavanaugh says this is the best that the can drive has done in several years. The band continues to raise funds for their trips and are currently selling scarves. Soon they will be selling mugs and cups so be on the lookout for that!
