Whenever the Patriots clinch another win, you can always count on Dante Angelini to be in a good mood. However, Dante is always a happy kid. Always smiling and saying “Hi” to people, Dante brightens people’s days.

Now a sophomore at Holyoke High, Dante went to Donahue for middle school. His favorite subject in school is math. One of his favorite teachers, Mr. Britton, had only positive things to say about Dante.

“Dante is an incredible young man. He come to school every day with a great attitude,” Mr Britton commented. “He loves to learn new things and is always willing to help others in our class when they need it. He definitely has a bright future.”

This past school year, Dante was the manager for the tennis team. He says he liked hanging out with his friends, especially Andy “Cheddar” Mier ’17, and having fun playing tennis. Andy says that Dante “is the heart of the team and has so much team spirit and pride.” He really enjoys feeling like part of a team.

Dante loves Tom Brady and Gronk. He likes football because it’s something he can share a passion for with people. He feels honored to get to love the Pats like he does. His love for football doesn’t stop at the Patriots though. Dante can always be found cheering on his fellow Knights during the Friday night football games. Standing in the student section cheering and chanting for Holyoke Football, Dante’s smile is contagious. Dante also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite team is the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are his favorite players.

In the words of Mr. Britton, “Dante is a great example of the type of student that makes Holyoke High School such a special place.”
