On October 9th, NBA fans witnessed a battle between two towers, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chet Holgrem and San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembenyama. Holgrem and Wembenyama were at each other’s heads. Although Holgrem was drafted last year, due to a season ending injury fans weren’t able to see his performance. Holgrem and Wemebnyama were both showing off their skills, with Holgrem finishing the game off. He ended with 21 points, nine rebounds and one assist shooting 7-10 from the field in 16 minutes. Wembenyama finished the game off with 20 points and 5 rebounds shooting 8-13 from the field in 19 minutes. It was a close game from beginning to the end but OKC took the win thanks to amazing end-game defense, the final score being 122-121.
