In addition, Colon’s goals this season were to be someone that her teammates can rely on by showing her good sportsmanship and always playing her best and showing her skills on the court.
“This season I was able to complete all my goals by supporting my teammates around me by really giving that trust to rely on me so I can play my best.” Colon reported.
Colon had a great season not only with her skills of playing, but her mindset throughout the season was always positive. Showcasing signs of being humble and having energy needed for games.
“I have the energy that most people are scared to show on the court, but it is something you should always bring. It’s what makes the game fun .” Colon expressed
With that being said, Colon does want to continue to play for college. Her goal for college is to make it to the highest division and plans to work hard to accomplish these goals soon via working hard, being there for her teammates, and a positive attitude.
“ For future players, I would say, give it your all at all times. As much as you think people aren’t watching, they always are. And have great energy with everyone, but most importantly have fun!”
