The stakes are high this week for the Knights as they take on the Westfield Bombers at Westfield High School.

With playoff implications on the line, the Knights face a tough opponent in 5-1 Westfield, despite coming off an exciting win over Agawam last week.

Knights quarterback, Gabriel Fernandez ’20, hopes to get the offense’s efficiency back up.

“We are going to run the ball down their throats. We just have to keep moving the ball, convert on third down, and limit turnovers. We’re going to take as many yards as we can every down; we don’t need the big play,” Fernandez said.

Defensively, the Knights are a force in Western Mass, only giving up 16 points per game. Knights Cornerback, Jaedan Alejandro, said, “Everyone just has to do their job! We’re going to stick to the coaches’ game plan. We’ve worked hard all week in practice preparing so that we can compete with their passing game.”
